Prepare your enrichment solution:
- Mix 1g of feed (1/2 teaspoon) in 1L of seawater in a disposable bottle and shake it well;
- Keep refrigerated and use it no longer than 1 week.
24h before feeding larvae:
- Prepare your enrichment container by adding 160mL of enrichment suspension to 1L seawater;
- Sieve 10% of your 10L rot culture and rinse it to the enrichment container;
- Add light aeration.
Content of this pouch will enrich rots culture up to 60L.

What is phytoplankton?
Phytoplankton, also called microalgae, is a mix of small primitive aquatic plants which can be found in ocean, just like tiny seaweeds. Most of them float freely and are on the base of the food chain of larger animals.
What are this product main ingredients?
This product as only one ingredient: freeze-dried Isochrysis at a freeze-dried state.
No additives nor preservatives have been added to product.
This is a small size golden microalga (3-6 µm). Premium source of ω-3 fatty acids (DHA), vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, C, E), amino acids, minerals and pigments. Enriched rots are essential for more challenging fish larvae´s nutrition. Just perfect for rotifers enrichment!
Do you want to know more about rotifers?
Rotifers are microscopic animals which belong to Rotifera class - zooplankton. They are funny-looking creatures, with cilia shaped like a wheel around the head end of the organism. These cilia are small appendices that are always moving, creating water currents and promoting navigation and feeding.
How can I calculate the PhytoBloom Rotifer Boost Feed dosage I need?
Why should I enrich my Rotifer population with this?
To have the desired nutritional profile, Rotifers must be enriched. Emerging your culture in Isochrysis for a few hours will boost its DHA and vitamin C levels, leading to a balanced nutritional profile. Improve your diva reef inhabitant’s health by giving them the best food possible! Have you ever seen a more natural and complete way of enrichment?
Does this help my aquarium?
Rotifers are premium food of many marine aquarium residents, like clownfish, gobies and even some corals. For them to be at their brightest, they need a proper and nutritional feed.
What is freeze-drying?
Freeze-drying is a dehydration process typically applied in food industry, like instant coffee or powdered milk. Process extends product’s shelf-life. Process of freeze-drying works as follows: a strong vacuum will force water from frozen phytoplankton to turn from ice directly into vapor, allowing full dehydration of product while biochemical composition remains unaltered.
Powdered formula of pure golden Isochrysis (small size). Premium source of ω-3 fatty acids (DHA), vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, C, E), amino acids, minerals and pigments. Enriched rots are essential for more challenging larval nutrition.
